Introducing the Map2Earn Program

We’re thrilled to announce a new chapter in our mission to map the world in 3D.
Starting April 1st, the Content Creator Program will officially evolve into the Map2Earn Program — a simplified and inclusive reward system designed to incentivize our most active mappers. No contracts, no content requirements, no barriers. Just map — and unlock additional bonuses.
Why This Change?
At OVER the Reality, we’re building the largest 3D map of the world — a digital layer that enhances physical spaces through Augmented Reality. Through our mapping system, users are already earning between $0.90 and $3 per approved map, depending on location value.
And there’s more: when you map high-value lands, you also unlock access to the Wheel of Fortune, which gives you a chance to win additional prizes ranging from $1 to $1,250.
The Map2Earn Program is not replacing those payments. It’s an extra reward layer, designed to encourage even more consistent mapping activity. Whether you’re mapping OSM lands or high-value areas, you now have the chance to earn bonus rewards on top of your regular payouts — simply by hitting monthly milestones.
How It Works
Anyone using the OVER app is eligible. Every approved OSM and high-value map you create during the month counts toward the following bonus tiers:
1️⃣ 150 approved maps → $25 bonus (in $OVR Tokens)
2️⃣ 250 approved maps → $50 bonus (in $OVR Tokens)
3️⃣ 500 approved maps → $100 bonus (in $OVR Tokens)
4️⃣ 1000 approved maps → $250 bonus (in $OVR Tokens)
⚠️ Please note: these bonuses are not cumulative. That means if you reach 500 maps, you unlock $100, not the sum of all previous tiers.
These are in addition to the standard payments you already receive for each approved map.
The Content Creator Program helped us grow through social media, storytelling, and creative content — and we’re incredibly grateful to all the creators who contributed.
But with the Map2Earn Program, we wanted to make participation even more open. That’s why we’ve removed content requirements entirely. There’s no need to apply, sign anything, or promote your work. If you’re mapping and your scans are approved, you’re eligible.
We’ll kick off the Map2Earn Program with a 1-month trial phase, running from April 1st to April 30th. All users will be able to participate freely during this time, and earn bonuses based on their mapping activity.
After the trial, we’ll evaluate results, gather community feedback, and share updates on the future of the program — including any improvements, expansions, or permanent launches.
Important: Reward Claiming Period
Rewards will be credited to your account at the beginning of the month following the mapping period. Once a reward is credited, you will have 30 days to claim it. If the reward is not claimed within this period, it will expire and will no longer be available. We encourage all mappers to check their accounts regularly and claim their rewards promptly.
