Join the OVER ARwards Creator Winter Contest and Compete for Top Prizes

We’re thrilled to introduce the Creator Winter Contest, the latest edition of the OVER ARwards! Running from October 28th to December 22nd, this special competition invites our community of AR creators, mappers, technology enthusiasts, and more to showcase their skills and compete for a total prize pool of 16,000 OVR Tokens.
How to Participate
Joining is easy! Participants simply need to create a geolocated AR experience using a 3D map produced with the OVER app. Mappings can be self-created or acquired as NFTs on our marketplace, and experiences should be designed through the OVER Web Builder. While not mandatory, we recommend creating experiences on land you own to enhance visibility. Your experience can also be showcased on the Workspace within the OVER app.
Submission Guidelines
To qualify, participants must:
- Create a geolocated experience in the OVER Web Builder, based on a 3d map.
- Submit at least one vertical video showcasing the experience in one of the following modes:
- Augmented Reality (AR) Mode: Capture the experience in a real-world environment.
- Digital Twin Mode: Present the experience within the mapped digital environment.
- To maximize eligibility for the top prize, submit both AR and Digital Twin videos. All videos should be uploaded to the ARwards website, where they can be shared directly on Twitter.
Awards and Judging Process
Every two weeks, we’ll select three winners, with prizes distributed as follows:
- 🥇 Winner #1 – 2000 OVR Tokens: Awarded for the most creative submission with both AR and Digital Twin videos.
- 🥈 Winner #2 – 1500 OVR Tokens: Awarded for the best creative submission with either an AR or Digital Twin video.
- 🥉 Winner #3 – 500 OVR Tokens: Awarded for the video receiving the highest number of likes on Twitter.
Judging Criteria
The Over the Reality team will evaluate submissions based on creativity, technical quality, originality, and the integration of the experience within its environment.
Submission Phases and Announcement Dates
The contest is divided into four phases, each with a prize pool of 4,000 OVR Tokens:
- First Phase: Submissions from October 28th to November 10th (Winners announced on November 11th).
- Second Phase: Submissions from November 11th to November 24th (Winners announced on November 25th).
- Third Phase: Submissions from November 25th to December 8th (Winners announced on December 9th).
- Fourth Phase: Submissions from December 9th to December 22nd (Winners announced on December 23rd).
